Fire Facts knows fire.
In fact, we’ve been investigating fire scenes and analysing fire scene data for over 13 years, and our background is in fire and rescue operations.
No matter how complex, technical or unique the circumstances of the fire scene, Fire Facts provides expert analysis and objective report writing relating to fire scenes for a range of clients including lawyers, loss adjusters and police.
Prior to starting Fire Facts, founder Steve Apps had 33 year career with FRNSW. Steve held front line roles including hazmat, rescue, fire safety, firefighting and incident command, which gives him a broad understanding of all aspects of fire and enables him to speak the language of firefighters and analyse their actions at fire incidents.
Steve has been the lead investigator at over 800 fire investigations with FRNSW, and has provided countless remote support investigations from his Sydney base to fire investigators throughout the state. His training, knowledge and experience as an investigator has seen him recognised in court as an expert witness.
